He completed his psychiatry residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, a member of the Mount Sinai Health System. In addition to his private clinical practice, Dr. Buggie works as an attending physician in several psychiatric emergency rooms with admitting privileges at Mount Sinai West & Morningside Hospitals. Dr. Buggie also worked in a Harlem homeless shelter & various Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams. In his spare time, Dr. Buggie enjoys jogging along the Hudson River, gardening tomatoes & basil as well as playing with beagles. In the summer, he spends weekends in Rockaway Beach, Queens playing tennis, biking & surfing. Most recently, he applied to NASA on a whim but for the Astronaut Candidate Program for future missions to the Moon & Mars but was not selected in December 2021.
